Where many Enneagram programs focus on cognitive and emotional understanding, the
Somatic Enneagram brings in the often-overlooked intelligence of the body. This powerful and yet gentle methodology enables clients to recognize and unwind the automatic, reactive patterns that live beneath the surface of type—what we call the “somatic type structure.”

The Somatic Enneagram Professional Certifications enable you to build your capacities and skills to facilitate Somatic Enneagram inner work with others. During the Certification process, as well as learning and practicing a respectful, compassionate and robust methodology, you will continue to deepen your own ongoing inner work to understand and come alongside your own inner patterns, individually and together with other certification cohort members. 

The Certification programs at levels 1 and 2 include an orientation, self-study and reflection, mentored practice sessions and a final assessment reviewed by Marion Gilbert. 

The Somatic Enneagram Professional Certification has 3 levels:

Level 1 – One-to-One Facilitation - is a pathway for you to develop competency in facilitating effective Somatic Enneagram Inquiry, working 1:1 with a client. This includes guiding a client to develop the Foundational Elements and work with the Somatic Enneagram Awareness Method to recognize the obstacles to relaxing type structure and its reactivity, from a felt-sense somatic point of view.

Level 2 – Panel Workshop Facilitation  - is a pathway for you to develop competency in facilitating people in a Somatic Enneagram panel workshop with an audience. This includes appropriately integrating a short version of 1:1 somatic inquiry in a group setting and facilitating teaching moments for the audience to understand how the Enneagram Types express themselves in real life situations.

Level 3 – Teaching Somatic Enneagram Modules and Retreats – by invitation only.
