Somatic Enneagram Training
& Certification Program
Level 2

 

 

In the Level 2 Certification program, you build your skills in setting up, facilitating and debriefing Somatic Enneagram Panels.


Somatic Enneagram panel are a compassionate and gentle approach in which 2-4 people who identify with the same patterns explore their experiences in response to inquiry from a practitioner.  As people sit with and notice their own experience, powerful insights, shifts of energy and relaxation can occur.


During the Certification program, you learn and practice how to:

  • Use somatic facilitation so that panelists can take a next step in the direction of their evolution, growth and development. 
  • Help panelists to experience a certain relaxation of the reactivity of their Type through a somatic inquiry.
  • Teach and demonstrate specific characteristics of the somatic Type structure in order to enlighten the panelists and the audience.
  • Invite the audience to receive the panel by noticing how the work of the panelist is affecting them personally
  • Build capacity and develop skillful means to recognize and know how to relax your own Type patterns, as you at the same time pay attention to the panel, to the audience and to their education through the panel method.

In the Certification Level 1 program you build skillful means and capacity to facilitate the Somatic Enneagram methodology in a One-to-One context.

You learn and practice how to:

  • Develop and maintain a state of grounded presence, inner observer and conscious placement of attention, and help your client to do the same
  • Use Somatic Enneagram practices to guide the client to be with their inner felt sense and self-regulate
  • Conduct Somatic Enneagram inquiry
  • Guide the client to reconciliation, integration and essential states where appropriate
  • Build your capacity and develop skillful means to recognize and know how to relax your own Type patterns, so that you can maintain presence and accompany your client.

After completing your Level 1 Certification, you prepare to apply for Level 2 by doing the following activities:

  • Complete the Somatic Enneagram Introductory Workshops training, (link to new page below) where you learn how to introduce people to the Somatic Enneagram
  • Run at least 3 Introductory workshops using the materials you will be given on the training. 
  • Continue your active Somatic Enneagram one-to-one practice with clients 
  • Attend supervision sessions with an SE mentor to reflect on your practice
  • Receive SE sessions as a client
  • Attend one Inward Turn Retreat for your own continuing inner work.

Learning to facilitate Somatic Enneagram Panel Workshops will enable you to:

  • Take people underneath the known stories of their lives, to the somatic drives fueling their personal stories and belief systems.
  • Demonstrate how the Type structure shows up underneath the personality and how it hides and automatically expresses itself in the horizontal world.  
  • Deepen your knowledge and understanding of the somatic patterns of Types, centers and harmony triads
  • Build your capacity and develop skillful means to awaken, recognize and know how to relax your own Type patterns.

Once you have completed Level 1 and 2 Certifications, you may be invited to take Level 3 Certification, which includes teaching SE Modules and/or becoming an SE affiliate.
