The Somatic Enneagram Training & Certification Program

The Somatic Enneagram™ Training and Certification Program is an in-depth, five-module journey with integrated coaching and mentorship. It equips you to work comprehensively and transformatively with:

  • The nine personality structures of the Enneagram system

  • Somatic reactivity and defense patterns

  • Sensate awareness and felt-sense intelligence

While many begin with the Enneagram at a theoretical level, this program goes further. It explores the deeper truth beyond type identification — uncovering essence by deconstructing the obscurations created by our type.

Why the Somatic Approach?

The root of our patterns is held in our somatic type structure — the survival system that shapes how we think, feel, and react. When danger is perceived, this structure triggers cognitive, emotional, and somatic distress.

Through somatic awareness practices, participants learn to:

  • Turn attention inward to metabolize reactivity at its root
  • Free themselves from automatic, habituated responses
  • Expand their ability to choose conscious, flexible, and present-moment responses

This integration restores balance, resilience, and receptivity to a greater reality.

Program Structure & Certification

The Somatic Enneagram™ Training is a sequential program (Modules 1–5). Competencies developed throughout training and the mentoring process are evaluated for certification as a Somatic Enneagram Certified Facilitator.

This program is for those continuing toward certification as a Somatic Enneagram 1:1 Facilitator:

  • Enneagram certification by an accredited school (or equivalent) is required
  • Professional experience working with others (e.g., coaches, therapists, teachers, clinicians, spiritual directors, social workers, medical professionals, etc.) is required
